Ken is a young man who has lived in his small hometown for all his life. He spends his time working night shifts at the local gas station. One night, he reminisces about his childhood in this once-thriving town. Times were different back then: thriving factories provided most of the residents with jobs and the town with a booming economy. Ken especially thinks back on all the great friends he had, and how he sadly doesn’t get to see them anymore. Then Long Foot, one of those close childhood friends, walks through the door and proves the past should sometimes stay that way. What should have been a happy reunion turns into a melancholic self-examination as Ken is reminded of an unpleasant memory, he’d never have to face again.
