獨力扶養智能障礙的兒子長達三十年，年邁的母親漸漸感到力不從心。面對兒子的未來，她感到無比絕望，茫然與憂鬱日夜壓得她喘不過氣。某天，她騎車載著兒子來到他最愛的海邊，一個黑暗的念頭襲上了她的心頭……。《少年阿堯》導演再度以寫實視角聚焦社會底層，凝視身陷困局的邊緣家庭，嘗試為當下的人倫悲劇帶來一線曙光。
An exhausted mother takes her intellectually-disabled son to the seaside, after raising him all by herself for over three decades, in an attempt to end their lives together. She who also suffers from illness can no longer carry on. As she talks her son into walking in the sea, the end is near…

1990年生，畢業於國立臺灣藝術大學電影研究所，第十三屆金馬電影學院學員。以短片《少年阿堯》及《看海》入圍國內外各大影展，正積極籌備首部長片。
LIN Po-Yu is an emerging Taiwanese director, graduated from NTUA MFA directing program. His short film Growing Pains (2020) and To the Sea (2021) were shortlisted in numerous international film festivals. He is skillful at precisely capturing realism from society and humanity, and his works mostly turn to social issues and life experiences of individuals that inspire him.

近年來，台灣家內殺子事件頻傳，社福制度出現了難以縫補的裂縫，深受長照壓力與抑鬱情緒所苦的父母，以攜子自殺，換取解脫。生死交關的瞬間，是最魔幻的時刻。希望藉這部電影，呈現出心智障礙家庭的照顧困境，促使社會改變、避免悲劇再度發生。
