被神折翼的人們，卻有著能夠造「神」的雙手……
在馬尼拉一座如迷宮般的天主教雕像工廠中，擠著一群由LGBTQ群體、社會邊緣人和失業者所組成的工作環境。他們每日被迫帶著簡陋的防護裝備，曝露在有毒粉塵中，為菲律賓龐大的宗教商業市場生產雕像。儘管如此，這裡卻溫暖地接住了斷翼的天使們，免於墜入充滿毒品、暴力與貧窮的塵世。
本片帶領觀眾走入TML天主教雕像工廠，一探員工在此居住與工作的日常生活，劍指其中涉及金錢、宗教與性的複雜結構；玩味的是，不受天主教所認同的同志族群也在工廠中為教宗打造雕像，彷彿成了「造物主」。導演透過這荒誕的工人日常群像，某種程度上意欲探討資本主義下環境的問題，也藉此深入反思當代世界的種種矛盾。
Built as a labyrinth in Metro Manila, with multiple levels and buildings, the TML (Three Mighty Lords) factory offers unsafe handcraft jobs on a uber-like system with self-employed workers, the outcast and left behinds of the Filipino society. There, while filling their lungs with chemicals and killing their eyes on miniature tasks, Chabi & Maja, a lesbian couple with an 8-year old son trying to finance their newly bought house, and Chelsea & Rhea, two joyful ladyboys who was sex employees at the past, are making religious figurines that will soon be bought, blessed and worshiped by Christians all over the world.

喬瑟夫．曼加特，菲律賓裔美國人，為一名導演、編劇。師承前衛法國新浪潮影人尚皮耶歌林（Jean-Pierre Gorin），曾在多個非營利藝文機構擔任講師，短片作品在多個影展放映並獲得多個學院艾美獎項，2022年《折翼姊妹》為其首部長片作品。
Joseph Mangat is a Filipino American filmmaker who has written, directed, and edited award-winning documentaries and narrative shorts. Ranging from exploratory fiction to experiential docs, his work reveals stories from rarely explored subjects with subtlety and depth. His first feature documentary Divine Factory had its world premiere and was in competition at the 2022 Dok Leipzig Film Festival.
