文靜是一位飽受精神疾病所苦的單親母親。兒子關入少年監獄中，媽媽長期臥病在床，她只能在一對年邁夫婦家中擔任居家照護員以求溫飽。儘管她無微不至地照護老夫婦二人，深受阿茲海默症所苦的老婦人卻經常妄想文靜意圖殺害自己與盲人老伴。在一場意外打破這搖搖欲墜的平靜假像後，為了隱瞞真相，文靜做出無法回頭的抉擇，不僅徹底改變了一家的命運，更將生活推向難以言喻的深淵中……。

南韓新銳導演李率熙以自編自導的首部長片作品入選釜山國際影展，全片充斥著矛盾衝突的不安情緒，恍如惡趣味的黑色喜劇遇上吊人胃口的心理驚悚，以作者鮮明的影像語言呈現某種當代機能失調的社會縮影，獲國際影媒盛讚猶如《燃燒烈愛》南韓名導李滄東碰上《粉紅火鶴》「邪典教父」約翰華特斯。

Moonjung is a single mother who suffered psychological disorder. She has to take care of her ill mom and son in a juvenile prison. To make ends meet, she reluctantly works as a home caregiver for an elderly couple. The elderly woman Moonjung cares for suffers from dementia, while her husband is visually impaired. Although Moonjung's devoted care, the woman often directs anger and harsh words toward her. One day, a tragic accident occurs, fearing the consequences of revealing the truth, Moonjung makes an irreversible decision, and set the course for a dark and unimaginable fate for her and her family.
