2022 夕張國際奇幻影展

與母親同住在台北的柔柔，在鬼月的第一天早上，意外於一本舊書裡發現一張風景照，而照片的背面寫著陌生父親的名字。從未見過父親的柔柔暗自期許有天可以見到他，於是邀請了朋友阿龍一同前往日本展開自行車之旅，卻在途中意外發現了小島不可告人的秘密⋯⋯

始於柔柔對日本父親的強烈好奇心，本片前段佐以溫馨基調，準備展開一趟教人興奮的尋父之旅；然而來到後段，整體風格丕變，導演岸本司以熟稔的影像操縱能力，試圖探索謎樣宗教與死後亡靈，引領觀眾步入腦洞大開的奇幻世界。承襲過往藉影像呈現沖繩不同樣貌的母題，導演此次攜手曾獲台北電影節評審團特別推薦女演員獎的李佳穎與《春水奇譚》攝影師羅偉恩，以沖繩為主要拍攝地點，巧妙融合台日文化與人文風貌。

On the first day of“Ghost Month", Rou Rou, who lives with her mother in Taipei Old Town, finds a scenic photograph with her father's name on the back tucked into an old book. Rou Rou had heard from her mom that dad left them when Rou Rou was still a newborn and returned to Okinawa. Rou Rou decided to invite her friend Aaron to a bike trip in her father’s homeland, Okinawa, but strangely enough, their journey coincided with the start of the three days of the “Kyu-bon", when it’s believed that the spirits of ancestors return to this world.
