To her surprise, she learned on her wedding day that he was disabled and blind. Bound by the dowry already accepted, she silently endured. Amidst power struggles within the wealthy household, unfair property distribution, and an ambiguous relationship with the third uncle-in-law, Ying-ti's post-marriage life twisted her sense of self.
