After a series of trials and tribulations, a Christlike thief meets a spiritual teacher who introduces him to seven wealthy and powerful individuals, each representing a planet in the solar system. Together they begin a pilgrimage to the Holy Mountain, in order to displace the gods who live there and become immortal.

導演介紹
1929年生於智利，1970年代自編自導《鼴鼠》、《聖山》及《聖血》組成「褻瀆三部曲」，以融合哲學、史學、宗教學的神秘主義風格奠定邪典大師地位。近年更聚焦精神療癒與行為藝術，持續在昇華性靈的開悟之道上創作不輟。 Alejandro Jodorowsky is a Chilean-French film and theatre director born to Jewish-Ukrainian parents in Chile. He is best known for his avant-garde films filled with surreal images, mysticism and religious provocation. Mostly appraised for the cult trilogy: El Topo (1970), The Holy Mountain (1973) and Santa Sangre (1989). He received Time-Machine Honorary Award at Sitges in 2006 and Pardo d'onore Manor Award at Locarno in 2016.
