解除戒嚴的金門,面對著社會快速發展,傳統與現代建築的並存顯得何其唐突,軍隊的縮編更造就處處廢棄的碉堡隨雜草叢生。在彼時緊張的兩岸關係下,愛國歌曲的樂聲相互較勁;反觀歷經時代洪流下的現今,氣勢磅礡的旋律卻僅能奏出「現在進行式」的殘音。 本片以兩岸愛國歌曲作為穿插以代對白,帶出今日的慌亂和疏於管理的戰地遺跡,呈現文化凋零而發出瘖啞之聲;其中可見董振良導演不學不斷的前衛藝術手法及源源不絕的創作能量。 With the lifting of martial law in Kinmen, facing rapid societal development, the juxtaposition of traditional and modern architecture seems abrupt. The downsizing of the military has led to abandoned bunkers overgrown with weeds. Amid tense cross-strait relations, patriotic songs competed in fervent melodies. Yet, in the present era of change, the once grandiose tunes now only manage to play the remnants of what is left in the history and existing at the moment.

董振良,金門古崗人,退伍後在台北一家傳播公司擔任攝影助理,自己買了一台VHS攝影就開始拍起片來,首部作品便談到家鄉金門的交通醫療問題,進而為了記錄金門社運,在1989年與朋友一同創立了螢火蟲映像體。董振良的拍攝風格深深受到成長於戰地金門的歷史背景環境所影響,在戒嚴時期就開始偷偷進行拍攝,透過紀錄片反映人民心聲,同時將金門的影像作品透過在全國舉辦影展傳遞出去。 Dong Cheng-liang, born in Kinmen, in order to document the student movement in Kinmen, co-founded "Firefly Image Company" in 1989 with friends. His filming style was deeply influenced by the complicated historical background of Kinmen. During the period of martial law, he used documentary filmmaking to reflect the voices of the people and explore the essence of Kinmen.
