覬覦著女戰士芭芭拉父母所留下的龐大遺產，心懷不軌的藍豆國王在因緣際會下與邪惡玩偶「龐趣」聯手，秘密計謀著綁架計畫。另一頭，惡名昭彰的德古拉在過去300年間，已將無數拒絕他的公主變成醜陋青蛙；而一場精心策劃的綁架案，讓芭芭拉出現在他的生命裡。戀愛還未修成正果，卻已先蠟燭兩頭燒的德古拉，一邊要面對魔女瑪拉那恐怖情人似的逼婚，同時又得對抗玩偶「龐趣」對他的死亡要脅，這次他能否如願擄獲芭芭拉的芳心呢？
取材自斯拉夫民間故事中的不死怪物，本片企圖翻轉過往民俗傳說中扁平、「邪惡」的角色形象，打造有血有肉、低迥玩味的反派「英雄」，並以細膩可愛的繪風與高潮迭起的劇情轉折，創造出這部歡笑動人的奇幻愛情喜劇。
The eternally young and always dapper Drybone has been unable to find a bride for three hundred years. Meanwhile, all the beautiful shield-maiden Barbara the Brave ever does is fight off would-be suitors in the arena, suitors who only covet her dowry. But now that he’s got Drybone’s needle, King Lentil’s figured out how to get to Barbara. Though he forgot to take one thing into account: even though the needle holds Drybone’s death, there’s still room in his heart for love to come alive...

導演介紹
羅曼．阿爾捷米耶夫，1980年出生於俄羅斯，畢業於格拉西莫夫電影學院。起先以演員身份活躍於影壇，以多部短片在影展中屢獲最佳男演員獎項，隨後演而優則導，2007年憑藉首部短片《Tasia》獲得多項獎項肯定，2013年《Savior》獲第35屆莫斯科影展等影展獎項。 Roman Artemyev is a Russian actor, screenwriter, film director and film producer. In 2004 Roman received a prize at VGIK festival for the best male role in the short film, Walk. In 2007 Roman wrote and directed his first short film, Tasya, which won numerous awards. He continues to be a prominent figure in Russian cinema and entertainment.
